Peter is a MASc student in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, having joined the Dolatabadi Lab in 2023 after completing his BASc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Toronto that same year. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II/Class of 4T7 Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology and was most recently awarded a pair of second-place finishes in the poster presentations at the 2024 International Fine Particle Institute AGM and the 2024 University of Toronto Engineering Research Conference. Peter is co-supervised by Dr. Dolatabadi and Dr. Ashgriz of the Multiphase Flow and Spray Systems Laboratory (MUSSL) at UofT.

Research

Peter’s research is focused on developing an innovative experimental method to characterize aerosol dynamics in representative models of the human respiratory system, with the goal of improving correlations between in-vitro and clinical data to enhance respiratory inhaler design.
